Robbie: Hi, I'm Robbie! Today me and my friend Duke have a very special Fruit of the Spirit play in one act that we are going to do for you.

Duke: Yeah, it's like called the Good Planetarium!

Robbie: That's the Good Samaritan, Duke!

Duke: Uh, yeah. That's what I meant.

Robbie: The Good Samaritan is a famous story that Jesus told to the people a long time ago. He told it so people would know that God wants us to be kind to others.

Duke: So what are we waitin' for Rob? Let's learn about the next fruit of the spirit, Kindness!

Robbie: OK.

(They exit. Robbie is seen appearing from the right side of the stage with a bag of money. A robber appears and takes Robbie's "money" and clunks him on the head. A few seconds pass and a Rabbi passes by.)

Robber: Have a nice trip! Ha Ha ha ha ha!!

Rabbi: Oh my goodness! Look at this. There's a guy laying in a pile. He looks like he might be hurt. Hmm... Well, I'm in such a hurry. I'm sure someone else will help him. I'll remember to pray for him though. I'll just sneak away before he notices me. (The Rabbi exits).

Tax Collector: (Walks by...) Uh-oh! What have we here. I suppose I should see if he needs any help. (Whispers, hoping Robbie will not hear.) Yoo hoo! Young man? Do you need my help? He didn't say anything. He must be OK. I'd better be getting along now. Bye! (Tax Collector exits.)

Duke: (Happens by) Dum de dum... Whoa! Hey bud! This is no place to be taking a nap! Oh, dude. Your not napping are you? Your like beat up? Did some dude clunk you over the head and rip off your cash?

Robbie: Ohhhhhhhhhh.

Duke: I'll take that as a yes. Well, never fear because I, the good librarian am here to help you.

Robbie: (Whispering but upset) Samaritan, Duke! Good Samaritan, not good librarian!

Duke: (Whispers) Chill out Rob, you're supposed to be like knocked out.

Robbie: (Whispers) Get it right!

Duke: Ok! OK! I, the good orangutan will help you!

Robbie: (Whispers) I give up. Let's get on with the story.

Duke: First, I will take you to a doctor so he can fix up your injury. Then I will get you a nice comfortable room to stay in. There's a nice Motel 6 just up the road a ways. And I'll stick with you until you're all better and buy you anything you need to get back on your own 2 feet.

Robbie: (Groaning) But you don't even know me!

Duke: It doesn't matter, dude. Jesus said that we should love our neighbor as we love ourselves. When he was talking about your neighbor, he meant all other the people around you. He meant pretty much everybody! That includes you, my downtrodden friend!

Robbie: Thanks! I will never forget your kindness, good Samaritan!

Duke: Don't mention it, bud. It's just another day's work for the Good Aquarium!

(They bow and exit and Robbie returns.)
